Night Restaurant Manager

Our client is seeking a full-time experienced, talented, and motivated Restaurant Night Manager who can collaborate with our current Restaurant Managers and demonstrate great leadership and customer service skills. We take pride in specializing in authentic Italian hand‑made pizzas, homemade pasta, and desserts with a fun, quirky twist while maintaining tradition. Our client's restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for meeting the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals. The function will ensure that the restaurant works smoothly and that all production, quality, and customer service requirements are met. Those chosen will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and the ability to lead a team What we Require Restaurant and event management experience Personnel recruitment, training, and development Work both individually and as part of a team. English fluency is required. Passion and knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture Excellent organizational skills Customer-focused and well presented Knowledge of food, coffee, and wine; Leadership, motivating, and interpersonal abilities are essential. Stock levels must be maintained. Collaboration with the kitchen crew Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position. Apply OH&S principles. Food safety procedures should be followed Job Description Opening and closing of the restaurant. Hiring, training, and supervising Staff & Planning Rosters. Training and developing Staff in OH & Safety, Food Safety Procedures Ensuring that the dining facility and kitchen are maintained in an impeccable manner. Ordering, receiving, and storing goods efficiently and safely according to the tomanufacturer's manuals and directives. Purchasing stock and organizing competitive pricing for goods according to the monthly budget and control costs. Monitoring bookings and directing bookings and seating. Updating POS, UberEats, etc. with new menus and daily specials. Prepare the mise en place before lunch and dinner service. Ensuring consistency is maintained by monitoring the food and beverages served. Consult with chefs regarding the menu, daily specials, and upcoming functions. Supervise the service that is kept at an excellent level. Deal with breakages and breakdown of equipment. Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example. Meeting and reporting with Manager and Directors.
