Programmed Maintenance Services – Brisbane QLD Provide phone and email support to commercial fishers experiencing technical or reporting issues. Monitor daily quota and vessel tracking system checks, and identify issues that may impact data integrity. Manage day‑to‑day operations of the vessel tracking platform and monitor quota thresholds, including facilitating closures and client notifications. Offer clear technical and legislative advice to clients and officers. Identify, document and escalate system defects, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to improve user experience. Analyse SQL reports to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance. Test system fixes and enhancements to ensure functionality meets operational and legislative requirements. Support modernisation projects by raising development tickets and participating in testing activities. Contribute to knowledge base materials, SOPs, user guides and stakeholder training. Monitor support trends, maintain shared team inboxes and assist with stakeholder engagement activities across RIDS. What we are Looking For Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to de‑escalate issues and support users with varied technical capability. Experience troubleshooting technical systems, documenting issues accurately and managing escalations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy, multidisciplinary environment. Initiative and judgement when resolving non‑routine matters or interpreting procedures. High attention to detail, data integrity and professionalism when managing sensitive information. Commitment to public service values, safety and continuous learning. Highly Desirable Skills Experience supporting digital reporting platforms in government, regulatory or natural resource management settings. Knowledge of Queensland's commercial fisheries industry, logbook, quota and vessel tracking requirements. Familiarity with vessel tracking program obligations and ability to resolve higher‑level technical concerns. Experience with Jira, agile methodologies and UAT processes. Skills in analysing user behaviour and system performance to support improvements and training. Mandatory Requirements Diploma qualification in fisheries resource management or a closely aligned field. Demonstrated experience relevant to your qualification. Ability to follow structured escalation processes and technical workflows. Eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to undergo required screening. Ability to travel, deliver training and provide after‑hours or emergency support when required. Location & Work Arrangements Based in Brisbane.
