Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines. Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. This will be underpinned by a sector-leading renewable energy power station, with a forecast 70-80% renewable energy penetration rate. The Health and Wellbeing Advisor contributes the company to mine lawfully, meeting legislative obligations through the effective provision of wellness and health consultancy to stakeholders. This position works an 8 days on, 6 days R&R, 4 days on, 3 days R&R roster. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Develop, deliver, and evaluate health and wellbeing programs aligned with site risks (e.g., fatigue management, hydration, fitness, mental health). Coordinate health promotion campaigns and toolbox topics relevant to remote mining operations. Maintain visibility across site through field leadership and regular engagement with work teams. Injury Prevention & Early Intervention Assist with ergonomic assessments, manual handling programs, and job task analyses. Provide early intervention advice to prevent musculoskeletal and fatigue-related injuries. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Injury Management Advisors, or onsite medical staff. Injury Management & Return to Work Support the site medics with coordination of workers’ compensation, suitable duties plans, and return-to-work programs as required. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships across site departments and with contractor partners. Coach leaders on wellbeing strategies and health risk management. Actively participate in WHS meetings, audits, and risk assessments. Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure alignment with WHS Act 2020, WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, and relevant Codes of Practice. Contribute to policy development, procedure reviews, and continuous improvement activities. Champion the company’s values and foster a culture of care and inclusion. ERT Undertake and maintain mine rescue fitness assessment and program for site. The successful candidate will possess the following: Commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development Allied Health Qualification - Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist or similar Some experience in a similar health and wellbeing function within a mining / resources environment essential Membership of relevant professional association Valid WA "C" manual Driver's License Engender stakeholder confidence and protect business interests by maintaining a high degree of confidentiality in communications and ensuring sensitive information is kept secure Influence stakeholders by building productive and constructive interpersonal relationships both internally and externally to facilitate the timely accomplishment of goals Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Influence, engage and work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage confidential and sensitive issues, applying discretion when necessary Self-starter with ability to multitask and liaise with personnel and clientele Flexible approach to change in role scope and responsibilities Able to work 12hrs/day Able to work a FIFO site-based roster Demonstrated experience in delivering Workers Compensation, Injury Management and Wellbeing consultancy services and experience in developing, implementing and evaluating health, safety and wellbeing programs.
