We are seeking an experienced Specialist Mechanical Engineer (Reliability) to join our high-performing team at South Walker Creek. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in improving mobile plant reliability, optimising maintenance strategies, and driving asset performance across a large and diverse fleet. This is an opportunity to make a real impact—delivering engineering insights, influencing long-term maintenance outcomes, and supporting a team committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. With a strong partnership in place with our client Stanmore, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing project that has recently secured a five-year contract extension. What You’ll Do Lead reliability improvement initiatives and provide technical support to the site maintenance teams. Analyse equipment performance (productivity & reliability) and present insights that support informed decision-making. Prepare accurate and timely reports, schedules and maintenance plans aligned to site requirements. Monitor maintenance execution and recommend improvements to enhance performance and equipment health. Identify performance trends using maintenance and operational data, and drive strategies for improvement. Develop SAP task lists, asset strategies, and service sheet elements (including fluid selection) in line with lifecycle plans. Collaborate with Technical Specialists and the Maintenance Manager to resolve reliability issues and implement lasting solutions. What You Bring Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer. Strong working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance. Experience with fluid condition monitoring / analysis. Minimum 5 years’ mobile plant maintenance experience in a project or mining environment. Proven ability to lead, influence and implement change across maintenance teams. High-level organisational, prioritisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
