This role sits within Strategy & Customer Experience. This Business Unit does everything from marketing and customer communications, product development and partnerships, through to shaping our strategic vision and direction. The Marketing and Communications team at Aurora Energy are responsible for using our channels to market to reach our customers. They work collaboratively on customer experience design, campaign management, customer communication, brand marketing, and digital experience. By utilising the right channels, they ensure that Tasmanians are best placed to take control of their energy through making the most of existing and emerging energy products. About the Role You’ll be at the heart of creating meaningful connections with Tasmanians. This role is all about supporting marketing and communication initiatives that help customers take control of their energy. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team to: Deliver campaigns that drive engagement and business outcomes. Manage and grow Aurora Energy’s social media presence. Create compelling content for digital and traditional channels. Coordinate events, partnerships, and sponsorships that strengthen community ties. Provide reporting and administrative support to keep everything running smoothly. Every day brings variety – whether you’re brainstorming creative ideas, planning an event, or crafting content that resonates with our customers. About You You’re a creative thinker with a knack for organization and a passion for connecting with people. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love collaborating, and aren’t afraid to take initiative. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: A qualification in marketing, communications, or relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Experience managing social media channels and engaging stakeholders. Confidence in taking ownership of tasks and delivering results. A collaborative working style and excellent relationship‑building skills. Experience in marketing and communications roles is desirable, as well as knowledge of the Australian energy sector, or familiarity with tools like Meltwater.
