Job Summary National Disability Insurance Agency – Geelong VIC.The Service Delivery Risk and Audit team support Service Delivery Group’s leadership team to proactively manage operational and strategic risks, obligations and audit issues in delivering the National Disability Insurance Scheme to participants. We provide timely, relevant and pragmatic advice and services to support the risk owners to identify and manage risks across all aspects of their strategic initiatives, operating and project activities.We also support the development of controls to mitigate risks and facilitate improved risk awareness, coaching and reporting on emerging risk profiles and trends. Key duties of the position include Provide specialist risk advice to Service Delivery Branch/business areas and/or strategic initiatives program/project team in risk identification and assessment, control design and update of treatment action plans. Provide support in risk discussions and review meetings with risk owners in supporting the effective identification and management of operational and program/project risks. Assist in providing risk management training (framework and tools) and education programme to support risk maturity initiatives of the Branch/business areas. Assist with highly complex data analytics and analysis for risk reporting across a range of portfolios. Provide advice and operational support to the Service Delivery Branch/business areas in recording and/or updating risk entries in the Agency’s Integrated Risk Management System. Eligibility Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre‑employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship. Notes While this role is ideally performed from VIC – Geelong & Richmond, QLD – Robina, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity; however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered. The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community, including doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, and provides information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.
