Registered Nurses coordinate and deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients and clients of St George Hospital and the Health service, consistent with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures and standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver high‑quality nursing care in the Operating Theatres, instrument and circulating roles. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, applying professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations. Engage proactively with patients and clients to enhance service delivery and guide others towards service excellence. Apply risk management, safety and quality principles, ensuring compliance with relevant nursing standards. Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia. Demonstrated high‑level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to identify key messages when communicating with others. Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems. Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles. Recent post‑registration scrub‑scout experience in an acute care setting. Benefits Up to 12 allocated days off each year (full‑time employees) plus annual leave.
