Client Manager

Overview Client Manager - Entertainment – New Business and Retention. Open on locations. Work from Parramatta in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. Join our specialist Entertainment practice during a time of growth and expansion. Bring substantial Entertainment experience utilising binders for public liability, event cancellation and equipment to a key, client-facing role. The role focuses on A class client management and driving new business to embed Affinity within the Entertainment industry in Australia. You will lead a growth strategy, manage relationships with clients both external and internal, contribute to product development with a focus on binder products, and coordinate service solutions for A class clients and event organisers in the Entertainment segment. You will mentor and develop an Entertainment-focused industry team to enhance client retention and revenue generation. The role reports to the Senior Client Manager and Client Director of the Aon Entertainment team. Aon is in the business of better decisions. What the day will look like You will primarily drive new business take-up through direct and channel partner strategies, internal Aon collaborators, product innovation and digitisation of products, and identifying marketing strategies to develop new business for online and direct channels. Further responsibilities Lead top-level client relationship management and build a reputation that leads to new opportunities and strengthens existing client arrangements Develop and deliver an annual strategy focused on delivering revenue growth Mentor the team on products and binder management Lead wider Aon partners to ensure contributed solutions are delivered to enhance client experience Cultivate and establish relationships with Aon event promoters and direct clients in the festival and event space Assist with broking and carrier (insurance partner) marketing to achieve the best outcomes for clients Develop retention plans to maintain and grow A class clients and online opportunities Seek improvements in efficiency and processes to optimize resources and profitability Develop thought leadership and articulate Aon’s proposition to external and internal partners Act as a technical referral point for colleagues Act as a binder signatory Lead and support Business Development activity for both online and direct client opportunities Deliver client education programs and conference attendance both online and in person, potentially involving interstate travel Skills and experience Commercial understanding of business and the Insurance market Experience in property, public liability, cancellation, equipment and other general insurances relevant to the Entertainment sector Strong technical knowledge of insurance products required by Entertainment Mentoring skills Excellent commercial skills including ability to deliver and report on financials Strong negotiating, listening and communication skills Proven client management, relationship skills and new business development Adaptable, focused and self-disciplined, with strong social skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
