About the role UGL are seeking an experienced HSE Advisors to join our team on a casual basis supporting a global gas client. This role will see you play a critical role in ensuring our projects meet the highest HSS & ER standards. Commencing 1st December 2025, you will be working 3 week swing assisting with the decommissioning of an offshore platform, point of hire is Perth, WA. Key Responsibilities Develop project Health Safety, Security (HSS) & Environmental Management and Emergency Response (ER) Plans. Conduct HSS reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement and maintain HSS & ER aspects of Project HSE Management Plans. Participate in HSS & ER risk management workshops. Support project contract owners in meeting HSS requirements. Collaborate with SMEs to support HSS & ER requirements. Facilitate HSS & ER assurance activities, including audits. Assist with hazard and incident management and reporting. Prepare and deliver HSS & ER training sessions. Monitor decommissioning and project operations for compliance. Provide HSS site representation as required. Other duties as directed by the HSE Manager and HSS Team Lead. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or related fields. 3+ years’ experience in offshore oil/gas or high risk industry Knowledge of HSS management systems and WA safety case regimes. Familiar with Commonwealth, State, and Territory HSE legislation. Experience in auditing, investigations, and incident management. Root cause Analysis Investigation Training (e.g., TapRoot®, 5Y) – Desirable Internal/External Auditor training. Strong report writing skills. Reference - Assist tradespeople by positioning and holding metal stock or products to enable work to be carried out; Hand tools to tradespeople, and hold tools not immediately required; Perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing and bolting; Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches; Clean and prepare working surfaces Operate grinders, jack hammers etc as instructed Trade Assistants may specialise as boilermaker's assistants, fitters' assistants. Requirements Minimum 3 months experience on a maintenance site preferred but not essential Elevated Work Platform Ticket preferred but not essential 'C' Class Drivers License Able to perform duties, maintaining high standards in both Safety and Quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
