Pullella Earthmoving Pty Ltd is a well-established Civil Construction Earthmoving Company based north of the River in Wangara and has been operating for 30 years in the Construction Industry. Pullella Earthmoving provides a range of professional civil and earthmoving services to commercial, government and residential clients. We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor/Administrator who is conversant with implementing safety practices on site as well as assisting with safety administration processes. The position will be 50/50 based at various metropolitan sites as well as working within the office environment. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Ensure the company complies with all relevant health safety & environmental regulations and standards. Develop, implement and monitor health & safety and environmental policies and procedures and compliance with H&S legislation in line with obligations as set out in head contractor/s documentation. Perform regular site visits and inspections to ongoing projects and supporting Pullella personnel in the field. When necessary initiating investigations into HSEQ incidents, near misses and monitor and implement corrective processes to prevent recurrence and follow up with head contractor/s to close out actions in a timely manner. Liaise with head contractors’ site supervisors/managers and Pullella onsite supervisors as to safety/ongoing safety requirements and any issues which may present themselves on site and take corrective action by implementing safety practices to comply and eliminate the hazard. Attend toolbox meetings when necessary and follow up/submit EHS Inspection Reports as specified by head contractor/s. Assist with onboarding documentation. In particular : Creation of project specific SWMS ensuring that Environment Health & Safety GMR references are applicable to the work being undertaken and noted accordingly and ensuring legislation is current and noted on documents requiring same Plant Risk Assessments and Service Records submission Ensuring all personnel receive and complete site-specific inductions through appropriate portals as requested by head contractor/s ABOUT YOU You will need the experience to demonstrate capability in the following: Qualification and appropriate training in OHSE HSE Skills which include all the above mentioned and outlined in “role requirements” Sound computer skills Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others.
