St Angela's is a newly established, contemporary Catholic school within the Diocese of Parramatta, dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching and learning within a faith-filled environment. We are seeking a skilled, innovative, and passionate Coordinator 2 to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic school community while holding a leadership position with an allocation teaching and leading Sport K-6 and another specialist area. The successful applicant will play an integral role in leading, learning, supporting staff development, and enriching the lives of our students through a commitment to collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities The Coordinator 2 will fit the following criteria: This role attracts a 2-point paid allowance with a mix of teaching, leading, coaching and release. Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School. Demonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrity. Be committed, passionate and knowledgeable about teaching and learning across the KLA's. Be involved in the selection and induction of new staff Drive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School. Lead staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence. Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning. Prepare students for changing demands of a global community Establish a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community. Requirements of Role Support the Principal in the ministry of leadership, reflecting the mission of the Church by modelling respectful relationships with colleagues, students and families. Use research and data to think and plan strategically. Maintain a relational approach to team building through collaboration and critical thinking.Foster an innovative teacher mindset which supports student-centred learning. Model highly accomplished teaching using contemporary pedagogy and flexible curriculum design. Possess high level communication skills and interpersonal skills including empathy and confidentiality. Undertake professional learning as a connected educator who contributes to system learning in a global world. Support teachers in the use of digital technology to enhance learning. Contribute to a culture which enables imagination, creativity and innovation. Functions of the Role Initiate and engage in professional discussions with colleagues in a range of forums to evaluate practice to improve educational outcomes of students. Establish, develop and implement effective high yield pedagogical strategies. Lead professional learning dialogue by facilitating opportunities for teams of teachers to meet, plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learning. Support the Principal and leadership team to ensure programming, assessment and reporting documentation for K-6 is compliant and adheres to Diocesan and NESA requirements.
