I’m Andrew Louden, and I’ve got a Sales Manager role that’s not your run-of-the-mill people-leader gig.This one’s the real deal . You’ll be working directly with the CEO of a booming WA business (nope, I can’t say who (but trust me) they’re a big deal in their space), leading a solid team of sales pros, and helping steer the ship into its next phase of growth.You're not walking into chaos but you are walking into a business ready to shift gears. Think of it like this: the engine's humming, the team’s ticking over, the customers are loyal… now we just need someone who knows when to hit the gas, when to switch lanes, and how to rally the pit crew.What You’ll Actually Be Doing:Leading from the front. Coach, motivate, support and stretch your team. It’s not about managing by spreadsheet—it’s about getting in the trenches and building trust. Owning the numbers. Revenue, margin, client retention, customer happiness… they’re all on your scoreboard. Holding the wheel. Set the sales strategy, build capability, and create rhythm with meetings, check-ins, and culture-first leadership. Still a bit hands-on. You’ll keep a few juicy key accounts to remind you what customers want and what excellent service looks like. Linking arms across the business. Work closely with ops, marketing and purchasing. Share insights. Drive momentum. Be the connector. Who I Think Will Nail This:You’ve led a sales team before, maybe in B2B, wholesale, or any high-service environment where juggling flaming bowling pins was part of the brief. You know your numbers and your people. You can talk GP one minute and then coach someone through a rough day the next. You’re confident, curious, and proactive. You’ve probably described yourself as “all in” more than once. You know culture isn’t beanbags and birthdays... it’s accountability, respect, and people doing great work together. You don’t need to know anything about flowers. In fact, we prefer if you don’t... whoops did I just giveaway the industry my client is in?
