Overview National Business Development Managerm Brisbane QLD Project Management (Engineering) Full time $200,000 – $250,000 per year Business Development Lead – Infrastructure (Rail, Transport, Energy, Urban Development) Our client is a fast-g growth consultancy backed by global expertise, expanding across key sectors including rail, transport, energy, and urban development. We're seeking a Brisbane based National Business Development Lead to drive national growth, secure major projects, and strengthen client relationships. The Role As our Business Development Lead, you’ll take charge of identifying opportunities, leading major bids, and developing strong partnerships across both public and private sectors. This is a pivotal role with national impact—and includes a leadership focus on Brisbane 2032 Olympics infrastructure pursuits . Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies across key infrastructure sectors Lead major bids, EOIs, and proposals with internal technical teams Build and manage relationships with government, contractors, and consultants Collaborate with their global design hub to deliver integrated solutions Represent the company at industry forums and events Mentor junior BD team members and support a high-performance culture What You Bring 10+ years in business development within engineering or infrastructure consulting Proven success winning large-scale projects in rail, transport, energy , or urban development Strong understanding of Australian procurement and tendering processes Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred) What We Offer Competitive salary package + performance incentives Opportunity to work on landmark national projects Flexible work environment with global collaboration Career development and leadership opportunities Be part of a consultancy that's building Australia's next generation of infrastructure.
