Prostate & Breast Cancer Foundation – Sydney CBD NSW About the role This Health Promotions Officer role (part-time, 3-4 days) is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients. Based in Sydney CBD (Town Hall) NSW, you will work to promote and deliver the Foundations' 'Can-B Fit Wellness program' and raise awareness, foster community engagement and improve patient access to fitness, nutrition and support. Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is required for this position. This position aims to Improve awareness of key health & wellbeing issues for cancer patients; Promote and run regular, online and in-class Can-B Fit cancer-exercise groups; Engage patients, support groups and promote the Foundation; Build relationships with local community, and health and fitness providers. You will work to Develop and deliver a program of Can-B Fit Wellness workshops, online & in-person; Promote the Can-B Fit through presentations, media, community groups, business forums or patient-support group meetings; Promote to patients to register, for either in-class or online sessions; Extend and expand the workshop schedule, into prostate cancer groups and to new locations; Solicit and apply for funding, from PBCF donors and community grants; Promote PBCF & develop relationships with local health & community services; Support group facilitators and trainers, maintaining project documentation, and monitoring to ensure outcomes are achieved; Measure & report performance on KPI's.
