If you resonate with our operating principles and are energized by our mission, Podium will be a great place for you The role As Podium Australia’s Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be reporting into our Senior Staff Accountant in Australia and working with a dynamic, global team assisting both the Melbourne and Utah offices. Primary responsibilities will include accounts receivable, billing and deal desk related tasks. You may also assist in other areas such as accounts payable, bank reconciliations and month-end close. Being the newest member of our international accounting team means there is room for development. What you will be doing : Perform accounts receivable functions, including preparing and amending customer invoices and communicating with customers regarding billing enquiries Assisting with deal desk functions ensuring the accuracy of our Q2C process Coordinate with Sales, CX and various other departments to ensure accuracy of customer billing Validate inputs to ensure system integrity Be a source of knowledge on Salesforce Billing Assist in month end reconciliations and other close processes Assist with preparation of schedules for financial statement audit Conduct ad hoc financial / operational analysis as required Assist with other accounting / finance projects What you bring : 2+ years related experience and bachelor’s degree in accounting Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proactive, quick learner with strong team spirit Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of Excel / Sheets SaaS industry experience highly regarded Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred What we bring : Real growth and career development opportunities, we’re still young in Australia with plenty of room to grow.
