Description Overview We are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team based at our Northern Beaches, Belrose office. This position will suit an ambitious finance graduate or an accounts payable professional looking to broaden their skills and grow their career. You will be responsible for full‑function Accounts Payable along with supporting month‑end processes, rebate datasets and treasury support. This position reports to Finance Reporting Manager and will collaborate closely with Senior Finance Accountant and Commercial Analyst. Scope of the Role Manage full‑function Accounts Payable, including invoice approvals, supplier reconciliations, and payment processing (local and overseas) Month‑end support including preparing monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with intercompany reconciliations, GR/IR clearing. Maintain the datasets for monthly rebate expense calculations and accruals Prepare rebate ageing reports. Assist in preparing weekly cashflow forecasts. Support the preparation of GST (BAS), FBT and Withholding Tax returns for Australia. Experience Required Accounting Qualifications or working towards, 1‑2 years’ experience in general accounting role, or experience in AP. Problem solving and sound decision making skills Strong PC skills in Excel and ERP systems (ideally SAP) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset.
