As our newest team member, you’ll play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, estimating costs, and ensuring the seamless execution of commercial plumbing projects. If you’re ready to bring your expertise to the table and make an impact in a dynamic industry, we want to hear from you Responsibilities Oversee and prepare tender submissions for plumbing and infrastructure projects, including preparing estimates and proposals for design and construct and construct only projects with typical values between $100k and $2M. Network with key internal and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes. Prepare and implement a campaign strategy. Manage and mentor junior members of the team. Document aspects of projects for handovers. Construct breakdowns of tenders for submission. Manage methodologies, sequencing, scheduling and risk and opportunity registers. Support internal and external reporting of project progress. Provide technical management and validation of tender designs. Carry out strategic alliances. Have experience bidding, winning and coordinating projects. Deal with multiple projects at once. Deal with client issues. Experience required Min 2–3 years experience in the construction industry. Plumbing experience essential for the understanding of principles of systems and regulations. Experience delivering projects at greenfields and brownfield sites. Experience in estimation and pre-contracts. SimPRO and Groundplan cloud-based software experience would be advantageous. Qualifications Advantageous: Trade certificate in Plumbing. Construction induction white card. Driver’s license. Advanced user of Microsoft Office suites. Advantageous: AutoCAD training. Advantageous: Microsoft Projects. SimPRO. Skills and Experience Reviewing tender specifications and drawings to determine material and resource requirements. Computing costs and preparing estimates for tender submission. Consulting with clients, vendors, designers and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Analyzing completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs. Interfacing with stakeholders within SimPRO to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates. Communicating project information to delivery team. Providing improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures. Developing innovative material inputs and construction methods to reduce costs. Identifying cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts. Preparing construction methodologies and project schedules for tender submissions.
