Due to an internal promotion, we’re now seeking a passionate and experienced Manager – Clinical Care & Governance to lead our national clinical governance strategy and champion best-practice care across our retirement living portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role within a values-driven organisation that is shaping the future of aged care in Australia. Preferred location is Brisbane – open to applications from our other locations About the Role Reporting to the National Manager – Care , you will : Lead the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks, policies and procedures Provide expert clinical advice, education, training and support across the organisation Drive quality improvement and ensure compliance with aged care legislation and strengthened quality standards Support the integration and scalability of care services across new and existing villages Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery Lead innovation through research and evidence-based practice Oversee risk management, incident response and resident satisfaction initiatives This is a national role with regular travel to support our villages, including rural and remote locations. What You’ll Bring Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience in aged, community or residential care Strong knowledge of aged care and Support at Home legislation , funding models and strengthened quality standards Demonstrated leadership in clinical governance , quality systems and operational management Experience managing services across multiple locations and leading organisational change Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Current CPR, First Aid , “C” class driver’s licence and National Criminal History Check Additional qualifications in Care, Business or Leadership (desirable) Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test Our benefits include the following : The wellbeing of all RetireAustralia team members is our priority and we regularly run initiatives such as safety training, wellness challenges, mental health awareness programs and a free annual flu vaccination program.
