Melbourne-based Remote Sales Representative - FMCG Food Nongshim Australia Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC Nongshimis a food and beverage specialized company that has been leading the development of Korean culinary culture since 1965. In 2014, Nongshim established a sales corporate in Sydney, Australia, the largest consumption market in the South Hemisphere and is charming the South with the spicy taste of Korea. Nongshim Australia is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a passionate Sales representative to service internal sales team and external stakeholders. The Melbourne-based remote sales representative is responsible for managing customers and retailers across the VIC, SA, and WA regions, reporting directly to the Sydney Head Office . The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated salesperson with approximately 1–2 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry. About the role Actively engage with existing and new distributors to achieve sales targets Monitor market trends, research consumer preferences to assist developing sales strategies Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems Create and process sales orders/invoices and assist the business in maintaining articulate sales recordsSales closing management and review & tracking of approved/submitted sales budgets Advise customers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business Direct, coordinate and review sales activities and tracking shipment schedule to facilitate seamless business operations Market-oriented activities and regular business trips required Other general sales duties as required About you Previous sales experience within FMCG Food industry is preferred Excellent negotiation and presentation skills to influence and build relationships Driven personality with a passion for sales, customer service and achieving budgets Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself or the team to make improvements or take corrective action Team player with a positive can-do attitude Ability to manage high volumes of work and tight deadlines Willing to assist other team members in need Fluent verbal and written proficiency in English and Chinese Language is highly regarded All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
