2026 Westbridge Funds Road National Championships Event Helpers AusCycling Road National Championships – City Beach WA Join the excitement as AusCycling hold the Road National events in Perth, Western Australia for the second time. Taking place over multiple days the event starts with time trails around Bold Park across the Wednesday and Thursday January 7th and 8th. Then the event moves to the fast passed excitement of a Criterium Race around the streets of Northbridge on Friday the 9th of January. The weekend heats up with the main events over Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of January. Riders will complete laps starting in Kings Park heading round the park antilock wise. They then come down onto Mounts Bay Road and up into the city centre making their way back up St Georges Tce onto Malcolm St and back into Kings Park. See the riders push themselves up steep hills to earn their place in the championships. Sunday the Gran Fondo takes place with large numbers of riders hitting the roads and the excitement builds before the Elite Womens and Mens races to finish off the event. Volunteers are needed to support the event organisers by being marshals on the course helping both riders and the public viewing the event. No experience is required but volunteers must be willing to be in place on course for long hours watching the event. They will also be required to use their voice to yell directions or talk with the public. All volunteers will receive a branded event t‑shirt to wear on the day, branded hat and sunscreen and will receive water and snacks for their shift.
