We’re excited to welcome a Retail Leasing Manager to our national Leasing team. While our Support Centre is based in Melbourne, this role is located in Queensland and works closely with stakeholders across the country. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, shaping retail networks and playing a key role in the growth of much-loved food brands. The role In this key role, you’ll take care of our retail property portfolio across both company-owned and franchised stores. You’ll help find the right sites at the right time, negotiate strong commercial outcomes, and guide lease activity from initial opportunity through to opening day. You’ll work closely with a supportive group of internal teams including design, construction, operations, finance and legal and build trusted relationships with franchise partners, landlords, agents and advisers along the way. What you’ll be doing Identifying and securing new sites that support our brands’ growth plans Negotiating lease renewals, relocations and variations for existing stores Managing day-to-day property and lease matters across the portfolio Preparing clear, well-considered business cases for new sites and renewals Using market insights to inform rental recommendations Partnering with legal teams to negotiate and finalise leases, licences and agreements Flagging lease terms that don’t meet requirements and working through solutions Supporting smooth lease commencements at new sites, with strong attention to detail About you Experience in retail leasing, either with a commercial agency, landlord or retailer Solid understanding of retail lease documentation and commercial terms Experience working with franchised networks is helpful, but not essential A confident communicator who enjoys negotiating and building strong relationships Organised, resilient and comfortable juggling priorities in a fast-moving environment Detail-focused, responsive and adaptable A genuine interest in retail, food and working with growing brands Property or commercial qualifications are an advantage Why join us?
