Assistant Manager – Pascoe Vale Hotel Location: Pascoe Vale, Victoria, Australia Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Overview We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the PVH buzzing and loved by the locals. Sitting on the corner of Railway Parade and Fawkner Road, the Pascoe Vale Hotel has been a local institution for decades, serving thirsty locals and visitors. It’s the place for family lunches, beer with colleagues or celebratory glasses. Responsibilities Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospo legends Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift Inherent Requirements This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
