Payroll Manager – National Multi-Site Organisation | Inner South Brisbane Location Full-time | Up to $150k + Super (DOE) Inner South Brisbane| Parking Onsite | Supportive Culture & Great Benefits Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking to take full ownership of a national payroll function within a supportive, people-first organisation? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in the early education sector, leading a small payroll team and driving system and process improvements across the business. The Role Reporting to the CFO, you’ll manage the end-to-end payroll process for a workforce of 1,000+ employees across multiple entities and pay cycles. You’ll also focus on compliance, leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of national payroll processing Ensure compliance and timely payroll delivery Lead and mentor a small payroll team Manage PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, and WorkCover obligations Partner with HR and Finance to support audits and reportingStreamline systems and processes (ConnX, TANDA, Micropay highly regarded) Prepare and present payroll reports to senior management What you’ll bring 5+ years’ experience managing full-function payroll for 1,000+ employees Strong people leadership and mentoring experience Excellent Excel and reporting skills Solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance Experience with payroll software Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Why You’ll Love It Salary up to $150k + Super Paid birthday leave 4 weeks annual leave Referral bonus program Inner South Brisbane location with free parking onsite Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment If you’re a hands-on Payroll Manager who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and making an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
