This Product Owner role sits within a digital financial services environment where transformation, delivery discipline and a strong customer lens shape every decision. The position suits a mid-level Product Owner who enjoys defining solutions with engineering, shaping a roadmap and leading a squad to create measurable customer and business outcomes. You will operate as the link between business vision and technical delivery. You will manage a clear, prioritised backlog, break work into deliverable increments and guide the squad through day-to-day delivery. The role requires confidence in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and translating complex requirements into well-defined user stories. Key responsibilities Lead an agile squad, ensuring product vision and customer needs are understood. Translate initiatives into features, epics and stories through structured solution discovery. Shape and refine the product roadmap with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Drive delivery through active involvement in stand-ups, planning, grooming, showcases and retros. Maintain a healthy backlog and manage cross-squad dependencies. Analyse incidents, support root cause identification and prioritise fixes. Coach team members to support a strong, collaborative delivery environment. Skills and experience Experience in digital / financial services. At least 3 years in a Product Owner, Scrum Master or Delivery Manager role in an agile setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. Proven ability to deliver against a roadmap. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management. Exposure to SAFe. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, clarity of purpose and the opportunity to shape meaningful product outcomes within a fast-paced financial services setting.
