About the Role As a Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in supporting the Building & Projects and Engineering team through the creation, shaping, and finishing of high-quality components and products using non-precious metals. Completing fabrication tasks accurately and on time. Collaborating with design, engineering, and production teams to meet specifications and quality standards. Applying artisan techniques such as hand-finishing, forming, and patination on non-precious metals. Operating and maintaining fabrication equipment and tools, including CNC machinery. Conducting risk assessments and adhering to WHS and environmental standards. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide fabrication work. Assisting with new product prototypes, material selection, and finishing methods. Maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Assisting with cost estimation, material planning, and assembly of metal components. About You A trade qualification in metal fabrication or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous project management experience (preferred but not essential). Strong craftmanship and attention to detail in non-precious metal work The ability to interpret and work from technical drawings Experience with hand tools and fabrication machinery Profiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding techniques for various non-precious metals What’s in It for You Access to leave entitlements, including wellness leave after 12 months of service.
