About the Role The Executive Assistant will be central to the smooth and disciplined operation of the executive office. You will manage the CEO’s workflow, priorities, and communications, ensuring effective coordination of executive matters and protecting leadership focus. Key responsibilities include: Executive Support Managing the CEO’s diary, workflow, scheduling, and correspondence Preparing agendas, briefing packs, reports, and presentations Monitoring priorities, tracking actions, and ensuring follow‑through Managing sensitive information with discretion Board & Governance Support Coordinating Board meeting schedules, director availability, and meeting logistics Preparing and distributing agendas, Board papers, and supporting documents Recording accurate minutes and maintaining governance action registers Coordinating Board community, cultural, and stakeholder engagements Managing Cultural Consultation schedules, attendance tracking, briefing notes, and invoicing Communications & Content Drafting CEO correspondence, internal updates, and stakeholder communications Producing high‑quality digital content such as social media posts, blogs, and community updates Preparing speeches, presentations, talking points, and public‑facing materials Stakeholder & Relationship Coordination Liaising with government, corporate, community, and sector partners Supporting briefing preparation, engagement logistics, and follow‑up documentation Ensuring professional and culturally respectful representation Project, Performance & IMS Support Supporting KPI tracking, dashboards, and performance reporting cycles Assisting with project planning, milestone tracking, and cross‑team coordination Preparing project updates and supporting project close‑out Assisting with IMS document control, compliance tracking, and audit preparation About You You will bring a combination of executive support experience, governance awareness, and strong organisational capability. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities and demonstrate emotional intelligence, discretion, and maturity. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is essential, along with a culturally aware and respectful approach when working with Aboriginal communities. Key attributes include: High‑level organisation and attention to detail Strong governance and Board support capability Excellent written and verbal communication Professional judgement, confidentiality, and reliability Confidence with digital tools and collaboration platforms A proactive, solutions‑focused working style Qualifications & Experience We are seeking: A business‑related qualification in Business Administration, or equivalent experience A minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a senior executive or Board, with 5+ years highly regarded Experience preparing professional documents, agendas, minutes, and correspondence Strong written communication and confidence working with senior stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities (desirable) A current driver’s licence (preferred but not essential) Benefits of Working With Us Working with Muru Mittigar means contributing to an organisation with deep cultural roots, strong community impact, and an expanding operational footprint.
