We are determined to reach our goals, as we hold ourselves and each other accountable Role Summary The Student Admissions Advisor is a key sales and conversion role responsible for driving enrolment growth at JMC Academy. This position actively manages a pipeline of prospective students, applying effective sales techniques to convert inquiries into applications and enrolments. Through high-quality consultations, proactive outreach, and strong product knowledge, the Admissions Advisor influences student decision‑making and ensures a compelling admissions experience. The role is accountable for achieving sales targets, maintaining high conversion rates, and delivering timely, accurate follow‑up. Working closely with key stakeholders, the Student Admissions Advisor ensures a seamless journey from first contact through to enrolment, directly contributing to JMC’s revenue, student recruitment objectives, and market position. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage and convert a high volume of prospective student leads through structured outbound calling, personalised emails, and timely follow‑up sequences. Apply effective sales techniques to understand motivations, overcome concerns, and guide prospective students through to commitment. Conduct persuasive one‑to‑one consultations, both online and on campus, to influence decision‑making and secure enrolments. Deliver engaging, high‑impact campus tours that highlight JMC’s value proposition, student outcomes, and point‑of‑difference. Maintain expert knowledge of all programs, entry requirements, career outcomes, and competitive advantages to confidently position JMC to prospective students and key influencers. Admissions Conversion Facilitate all stages of the admissions process with speed and accuracy to support conversion and reduce drop‑off. Coordinate folio assessments and auditions to ensure timely progression of qualified leads. Identify barriers to conversion and collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve outcomes. Provide personalised post‑application support to minimise withdrawals and strengthen early retention. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and conversion KPIs. Implement lead‑management strategies that maximise pipeline movement and minimise lost opportunities. Maintain high‑quality CRM and TAC records, ensuring every interaction is documented, accurate, and actionable. Use CRM and TAC data and reporting dashboards to track performance, forecast conversions, and recommend improvement strategies. Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns, messaging, and lead‑nurture activities to increase inquiry and conversion rates. Student Recruitment & Events Represent JMC professionally at recruitment events, consistently achieving strong engagement and lead capture outcomes. Deliver confident, persuasive presentations to prospective students, parents, schools, and careers advisors. Contribute to the delivery of open days, career expos, and information sessions, with a focus on generating high‑quality leads and converting them into applications. Key Attributes and Experience Proven ability to exceed sales and conversion targets in fast‑paced, KPI‑driven environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport, influence decisions, handle objections, and close effectively. Skilled in managing high lead volumes with structured follow‑up, CRM and TAC accuracy, and data‑driven prioritisation. Customer‑centric approach, tailoring conversations to individual motivations and delivering a supportive admissions experience. Confident presenter with experience in online and in‑person recruitment or promotional events. Highly organised, resilient, and adaptable under pressure; able to manage deadlines and shifting priorities. Desirable: Experience in education or student recruitment, understanding of the creative industries, and involvement in sales/marketing campaigns.
