About Us The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. Responsibilities Oversee and strategically lead the end‑to‑end project management of priority statewide health projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget. Develop, lead or facilitate the delivery of implementation strategies and change‑adoption plans to embed sustainable health service improvements, mobilisation of staff and collaborative action for service transformation. Provide expert advice on project and/or change‑management activities, design, governance, workflows, resourcing, scope, milestones and timelines, integrating plans and schedules to ensure successful delivery of project/program milestones. Provide guidance to leaders on how to lead through change and support their teams and project staff to ensure high‑performance outcomes in healthcare improvement initiatives. What You Will Be Doing The Program Accelerator team ensures that priority and complex projects are set up for success by establishing a consistent method and standards for managing projects and change. Reporting into the Executive Director, Clinical Engagement and Operational Programs, the Program Accelerator team may lead or contribute expertise to the design and delivery of priority projects and ensure alignment to ACI’s strategic goals and objectives. The role will oversee and strategically lead program, project and change management across all stages of the project cycle, driving high‑level buy‑in and adoption to successfully deliver healthcare improvement initiatives in hospitals and clinical settings across NSW Health. As a Project and Change Manager, you will foster innovation and collaborate with diverse stakeholders—including but not limited to ACI Networks, health managers, clinicians, partners and consumers—to identify opportunities for improvement and provide expert advice and guidance on initiatives that enhance health service delivery. The role also requires leading and managing staff within the team. Success in the role requires adaptability, expertise in project and change‑management methodologies, and the ability to tailor these approaches for optimal impact while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant health management experience, including project or change management qualification. Demonstrated experience in using and adapting project management methodologies to deliver results in a health setting (e.g., Agile and Prince 2 or other). Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying change management and adoption methodologies (e.g., Prosci or other methodology), or a proven track record of delivering statewide and local change and adoption projects, frameworks, and initiatives within NSW Health. Demonstrated knowledge of the health system with proven ability to manage strategic projects or change initiatives in the health system, including capability to initiate major project communication activities to build awareness among program teams and key stakeholders, improve program understanding and promote organisational goals, values and objectives.
