Opportunity As an Aboriginal Practice Leader - SCPU (50(d)), you will be responsible for: contributing to the development and implementation of effective practices relating to Aboriginal children and their families, providing high level advice to the leadership team on issues relating to Aboriginal services that is proactive, solution focussed and responsive to customer needs, promoting best practice and continuous improvement in relation to strategic advice and the delivery of services to Aboriginal children, families and communities as required, monitoring, reporting and making recommendations on the standard of Departmental Practice as required, professional development and practice development training and coaching to staff, contributing to and leading the development and implementation of Departmental Frameworks and Policies that lead to improved Departmental and Sector Practice Standards, implementing quality assurance mechanisms that support monitoring and continuous improvement of services to Aboriginal children and their families.
