What we offer Competitive salary package Supportive, professional, and safety-focused team environment Opportunities to work on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects Ongoing skills development in specialised coatings and finishes used in the window and door industry What you will do Prepare surfaces of aluminium frames, window components, trims, and building surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, masking, and priming prior to painting. Apply paints, sealants, protective coatings, and finishing systems to windows, doors, and associated joinery, ensuring high-quality and durable finishes. Mix, match, and adjust paint colours and viscosities to meet project specifications, product requirements, and architectural design standards. Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment including spray guns, rollers, brushes, sanding tools, and surface preparation machinery. Inspect surfaces, identify defects, and perform touch-ups or refinishing to ensure all materials meet company quality standards before installation or delivery. Follow technical drawings and work instructions to complete jobs that align with client requirements and project timelines. Assist with on-site painting and finishing tasks for installed windows and doors where required. Ensure workspace cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and compliance with WHS regulations and safe handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals. Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to coordinate workflow and maintain efficient production schedules. What you should have Proven experience as a professional painter—experience with aluminium, joinery, or construction finishes preferred. Strong understanding of surface preparation, colour matching, and application techniques (spray finishing experience highly regarded). Knowledge of Australian WHS standards and safe chemical / solvent handling practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a small, supportive team. Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
