About Our School St Benedict College is an exciting educational facility built in the beautiful growing community and suburb of Mango Hill. Over the past 10 years, state‑of‑the‑art facilities have been designed and built to incorporate innovative teaching and learning opportunities for over 1,000 students in Years 7 to 12. We provide high‑quality education across a wide range of subjects and experiences within a Catholic Christian context. Summary Drive strategic marketing, communications and events initiatives, collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to achieve operational success. Provide expert advice while managing daily marketing operations, administration, and communications matters across the school. Deliver high‑level support to meet strategic goals and ensure smooth execution of marketing and events activities. Location: St Benedict’s College – Mango Hill (S) Start date: 27/01/2026 Work hours: 38.00 hours per week Salary: $39.44‑$41.35/hr + super (School Salary Scale) (Term time only; school holidays unpaid, some additional hours may be required over the holidays and will be timesheeted) Status: Term‑time Fixed Term (Until the end of 2026 school year) Ad close date: 27 November 2025 Contact: 07 3385 8888 | About the Opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of online and print media, recommending improvements to processes and procedures where relevant Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures, and other guideline material to ensure continuity of branding within the school Preparing and maintaining marketing procurement activities including overseeing budget administration Reviewing, developing, and implementing processes and systems that enable effective management of social media, online platforms, and apps, ensuring they are consistent with the school’s strategic and operational objectives Marketing and promoting services, coordinating programs and events that are responsive to the school requirements and current trends Contributing to the school’s strategic and operational plans by reviewing legislation, regulations, initiatives and policies and providing recommendations Planning, organising, and delivering a wide range of school events ensuring each occasion runs smoothly and reflects the school’s values Working with staff, students, and families to plan and deliver school events that run smoothly, stay on budget, and celebrate school spirit and community About You To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Experience in media management specifically online and print Ability to interpret legislation and ensure consistent branding Experience managing marketing procurement and budgeting activities Digital strategy and media management experience aligning to objectives Experience coordinating marketing and events, aligned with needs and trends Tertiary qualification at Associate Diploma/Diploma in a related field Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement Benefits Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Competitive remuneration and flexible work arrangements (position dependent) Access to targeted AI tools and training with a focus on innovation and strong ethical standards Salary packaging and salary‑sacrifice options Active staff social club and wellness programs Personal support for employees and families through the Employee Assistance Program Please note applications for this position may be considered as they are received, and an appointment made prior to the advertised close date.
