About the Opportunity As Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) you will be responsible for the coordination of patient services, unit management and nursing staff management. Your role is vital in ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for every individual in our care. This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care and enhancing the overall patient experience. Perform as a clinical leader and manager. Coordinate patient care, ward management and leadership of the professions of nursing and midwifery. Enable a culture of enquiry and questioning about the practice of nursing. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote a supportive environment. About You Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1). Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Recent relevant experience in the specialty area. Committed to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment. Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
