Volunteer Online as a Conversation Partner Join ENGin as a volunteer to pair English‑fluent volunteers from around the world with Ukrainian learners for weekly online conversation practice. Participants are matched 1‑on‑1 and ENGin supports learners and volunteers with tips, resources, and problem resolution. Since launching in 2020, ENGin has connected over 26,000 Ukrainians with 24,000 volunteers. 99 % of learners report breaking the language barrier after 3 months of participation. What You’ll Do Schedule and conduct one‑hour video chats with a learner in Ukraine each week. Practice English with your partner, learn about each other’s cultures, and offer a supportive, authentic space for connection. Requirements Fluent in English. Strong internet connection. Commit to one hour a week for a minimum of 10‑12 weeks. No prior tutoring experience or knowledge of Ukrainian needed.
