About the Role Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a Budgeting and Administration Assistant to join the Finance and Contracts division. Reporting to the Manager Budget & Financial Planning, the role is based in the East Perth office and provides general administrative support to the branch while assisting with managing data for PTA's budget processes. Key Responsibilities Assist with the management and loading of corporate budget and forecasting data, and support process improvements. Prepare reports and information for internal and external stakeholders. Provide general administrative support, including maintaining effective systems and coordinating correspondence, briefings and reports. Support procurement and contract administration by creating purchase orders and assisting with low-value contracts in line with PTA and government policies. Undertake ad hoc research, investigations and other administrative duties as required. About You Relevant financial and administration experience, including data entry and data management in accounting, finance or related disciplines. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders on financial matters. Analytical and problem‑solving ability, demonstrated through working with data to identify, resolve or escalade issues. Solid organisational skills, including effective time management and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high‑quality outputs in all financial and administrative processes. Eligibility To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work visa until 12 February.
