As our Mechanical Repair Lead, you’ll lead our team of Technicians, driving high‑quality repairs with a focus on efficiency and teamwork. This hands‑on role means supporting and guiding the team to keep things moving. As the go‑to expert, you’ll solve complex mechanical issues, maintain quality standards, and work closely with other leads to keep the workshop running smoothly. What you’ll be doing? Leading a solid team of Technicians—keeping repairs sharp, efficient, and up to Carma standards (the high ones). Being the go‑to when things get tricky—whether it’s a tough job or a stuck bolt, you’re there. Keeping the workflow smooth with smart planning, so the day runs without surprises. Spotting ways to work better, faster, smoother—and helping the team grow while you’re at it. Keeping quality tight with attention to detail and providing clear, constructive feedback to help the team improve. Okay, let’s talk about you: 5+ years as a qualified mechanic; leadership experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Tech is a plus. Sharp with diagnostics and repairs—no matter the make or model, you’ve likely seen it (and fixed it) before. You’ve got a sharp eye for detail, communicate clearly, and know how to guide and support a team without missing a beat. Organised, solution‑focused, and passionate about continuous improvement.
