We're happy to talk good money - talk yourself up to us What we’re looking for Extensive experience as a Workshop Manager or Senior Technician in the marine industry (5+ years) A person who understands trailer boat fit ups, repowers and servicing. Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in the servicing and repair of a wide range of marine vessels and equipment Proven ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate a team of technical professionals Great customer service orientation and communication skills What you’ll be doing Coordinate and optimise the workflow of a team of marine technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards Provide technical guidance and support to the Sales and Service teams as required Liaise with customers to understand their needs and manage their expectations Manage parts ordering, inventory and cost control and maintain detailed records of all work undertaken About the role Townsville Marine is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the operations of our busy marine workshop in Townsville, tropical North QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the workflow for a team of highly-skilled technicians and ensuring the efficient and high-quality servicing and repair of a variety of premium boat brands. You will be driven to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with the Service and Sales Teams to exceed customer expectations.
