Mental Health Services are also available at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: This role requires a dynamic and experienced Nurse leader to deliver safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the operational, clinical and professional management of staff and resources, fostering collaboration, accountability and excellence across the Bundoora site and with the Division of Subacute Services and Hospital without Walls. Key Responsibilities: Providing leadership to subacute services with responsibility for site operation Managing staff and resources to deliver safe, efficient and patient‑centred care Fostering effective multidisciplinary partnerships and leadership across the health organisation Ensuring that patient flow, human resources and service delivery are aligned with best practice and operational efficiency Promoting a culture of enquiry, evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement, championing the care of the older person Achievement of Aged Care and National Standards accreditation Required Qualifications & Experience: Excellent working knowledge of Nursing Professional Standards, Subacute and Aged Care Services Proven ability to lead others through change Demonstrated strong sense of purpose in leading high quality care for older people interacting with acute, subacute, home and residential care Well‑developed professional skills in operations including financial, human resource management, contracts and accreditation Relevant postgraduate qualifications (management or clinical) Meet Aged Care Suitability Matters for Responsible Persons Next Steps: If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
