We’re seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the storytelling and creative expression behind Mode Mischief Studios’ social and digital channels. This role is perfect for someone who blends creative instinct with strategic insight. Someone who understands how to translate brand identity into meaningful, high‑performing content that builds connection and drives growth. Role Overview We’re looking for a content‑obsessed, fast‑paced, and creatively driven individual based in Melbourne, Australia to join us in this pivotal role. You’ll take ownership of Mode Mischief Studios’ organic content strategy, bringing our brand voice to life across social platforms and cultivating a global community that feels connected and inspired. From concept to execution, you’ll craft engaging, visually led content, stay ahead of trends, and collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social storytelling with key campaigns and brand moments. Key Responsibilities Plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Maintain a weekly and monthly content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and retail moments. Draft captions, briefs, and copy for creative assets (reels, stories, grid posts, carousels, and TikToks). Source, capture, and edit content that aligns with brand tone, voice, and visual identity. Conceptualise and direct shoots for both organic and paid content, ensuring brand consistency across every touchpoint. Regularly update media channels including email marketing campaigns, UGC programs, and paid/organic assets. Community & Engagement Actively engage with the Mode Mischief community through comments, DMs, tagged content, and interactive stories. Identify and nurture authentic creator and customer relationships to strengthen community loyalty. Lead day‑to‑day management of UGC sourcing, approval, and repurposing. Support influencer collaborations—from outreach and briefing to content approvals and performance tracking. Monitor and respond to social sentiment, ensuring the brand maintains a personable, authentic voice. Analytics & Performance Track channel performance weekly and monthly, presenting insights and recommendations. Analyse audience behaviour, engagement trends, and post‑performance to inform strategy. Collaborate with the marketing and paid ads team to develop performance‑driven creative assets. A/B test content types, headlines, and posting formats to continuously refine social output. Innovation & Brand Development Stay ahead of cultural and social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats. Experiment with new creative ideas, platform features, and storytelling techniques. Support retail and pop‑up activations with content capture and event coverage. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, product, customer service) to ensure content reflects launches, restocks, and customer feedback. Assist in developing social campaigns that amplify brand values, partnerships, and collaborations. Maintain an organised content library of campaign and UGC assets. Coordination & Workflow Organise and maintain all digital assets for easy access by internal teams. Schedule and publish content using the brand’s scheduling platform. Attend weekly WIPs with clear reporting on progress, insights, and next‑step actions. Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure deadlines and approvals are met. What You Will Bring With 2‑3+ years of hands‑on experience in content creation or social media management, ideally within the fashion or lifestyle industries, you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and bring a passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation. You’re a highly organised and detail‑oriented storyteller, comfortable juggling priorities across digital and social platforms. Whether coordinating shoots or crafting copy, you bring a creative, collaborative, and solutions‑focused mindset to everything you do. Additional Skills Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and confident communication across teams and stakeholders. Versatility across content formats including digital, social, print, podcast, and video. A clear, brand‑aligned writing style and a passion for fashion, culture, and digital storytelling.
