We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Laundry Technical Cleaner / Assistant to join our dynamic team with a core focus on Preventive Maintenance. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency of our laundry services. To be successful in this role, your work ethic, reliability & attention to detail will align with Top Centre Laundry’s exceptionally high brand standards and organisational values. About this Role In this busy, fast-paced role, you will be required to provide: Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance under supervision on laundry machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment life. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and cleaning cycles for all laundry equipment. Ensure operational facilities and equipment perform to their maximum efficiency with minimal downtime. Maintain our materials, products, and services. Implement and adhere to laundry hygiene and cleanliness standards, following company policies and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the Maintenance team to optimize laundry Equipment and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Competitive remuneration. Skills and Attributes To be successful in this role, you will need to be: Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices. A commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement. High level of time management and prioritization skills. Basic mechanical skills to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus. Previous experience in a laundry or cleaning role, with a strong understanding of operations and equipment maintenance. This role requires the ability to be flexible with your work hours and be available to work weekends as needed. Attractive remuneration will be provided.
