It has seven Diverse Learner Classes for students with Autism and Intellectual disabilities and emphasises inclusivity in all aspects of its operations. The school provides rich, diverse extra-curricular opportunities through school and our Community of Schools partnerships.Specific Selection CriteriaApproval to teach Spanish - Community Language, with knowledge of the Modern Languages syllabus outcomes and Spanish language and culture.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of explicit teaching and ongoing assessment and feedback to engage and differentiate the curriculum to meet the learning needs and strengths of a diverse range of learners.Demonstrated capacity to develop engaging learning environments and implement evidence-based behaviour and classroom management strategies that enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes.Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work actively and authentically when collaborating with students, staff, and parents to support student outcomes and promote a positive school culture.ConditionsAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.Special NotesThis is a permanent part time position for 3 days per week 0.6FTE (Full-time equivalent)Applicants seeking permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position.
