Your opportunity You will be able to use your previous grounds and maintenance experience to ensure that the College facilities and grounds are maintained at a high level of operational effectiveness and public presentation. This role performs a wide variety of routine and minor gardening, grounds and maintenance tasks within a small, dedicated team. Responsibilities Maintain College facilities and grounds at a high level of operational effectiveness and public presentation, performing routine and minor gardening, grounds and maintenance tasks. Qualifications Hold a Working with Children Blue Card. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Relevant Trade Certificate such as Horticulture (or similar) preferred. ACDC Chemical Licence preferred. Knowledge of plant types/species and of landscaping methods and techniques. Be flexible regarding the changing requirements within a school environment and manage time accordingly. Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups. Have a customer service focus. Be committed to teamwork and collaborative participation in professional relationships.
