About the role Located in Toowoomba and reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high performing Support Team working towards delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care. We have several casual opportunities available with conversion to permanent for the right candidates. Key Focus Areas Provide direct care within a residential setting ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment and promoting positive family relationships You will have resilience to work within a trauma-informed framework that makes a real difference with young people who have complex needs and challenging behaviours Benefits Casual conversion to permanent Regular rostered hours for permanent staff Mentoring by an experienced and passionate management team Benefits to increase your take home pay through salary packaging Employee Assistance Program - a health and wellbeing benefit What you’ll need Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or equivalent (click hereto view more details) or working towards Valid Australian full drivers licence for the state you have applied for Valid Australian working rights Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check Hold (or are willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Clearance First Aid and CPR qualifications. Skills and experience Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model including awake nights and sleepovers You are passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability Culture People love to work at Aruma because they get the satisfaction of knowing they are Supporting people to live a great life the life they want the life they choose.
