Data Analyst

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and consistent reporting, conducting data-driven analyses, and translating insights into clear, actionable outcomes. The role also supports and empowers business users by guiding them in using Databricks and collaborating closely to address data needs across departments. Roles and responsibilities Business Intelligence & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Databricks Dashboard). Ensure timely delivery of accurate reporting for internal stakeholders, brokers, and regulating bodies. Standardise reporting definitions and metrics to maintain consistency and source of truth across the business. Insights & Analyses Conduct in-depth analyses to identify patterns and trends in key business areas. Validate data assumptions and clearly communicate the results of analyses to the business, ensuring transparency. Manage and prioritise data and analytics requests through the Jira helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders on progress and outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with data champions to guide them in using Databricks, including data catalog, querying datasets, and leveraging key functionalities. Present insights in a clear, business-friendly manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build strong relationships to proactively identify and address data needs across departments. How to succeed You have experience deploying AI and ML models effectively coupled with a strong Business Partnering skill set, able to promote AI adoption and help foster a culture that embraces its usage. We are looking for someone with the following: 4+ years of experience in a similar role preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience in a fintech or asset finance with strong understanding of the financial services industry and lending. Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS and Databricks essential. Extensive knowledge around ML and AI modelling and deployment Advanced skills in Python, R, SQL, and Databricks. Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, XGBoost, MLflow). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) for model deployment and data processing. Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and integrating LLM-based solutions into business workflows. Familiar with MLOps practices, model versioning, and automation using tools like MLflow or Azure Machine Learning.
