Who we’re looking for: Getting our people home safely every day is our top priority. As Safety Coordinator you’ll play a critical role in influencing project leaders and driving Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) excellence across this newly awarded TfNSW road upgrade project. This is a site-based role, working as part of the main project team to ensure compliance, foster a strong safety culture, and deliver continuous improvement. What you’ll do: Lead the development and implementation of HSEQ standards aligned with compliance and due diligence requirements. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with senior management to prepare accurate and timely reports. Motivate and educate team members to champion best practice use of our systems. Develop work method statements, project plans, and inspection/test plans. Drive system improvements to demonstrate ongoing commitment to safety and quality. What we’re looking for: Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. Previous experience on civil/TfNSW projects. A self-starter with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships and influence outcomes. Sound knowledge of current legislation, standards, and industry requirements. Qualifications in Training and Assessment.
