Operations Manager

Kira & Kira was founded ten years ago by husband and wife duo, Simone and Grason Kira. What started as a furniture and homewares store has now expanded from our flagship Miami Store to include our brand‑new light‑filled Burleigh Heads Showroom, offering a full interior design service from styling right through to furnishing, fixtures and finishes. Kira & Kira are industry leaders in interior design, creating beautiful spaces for our customers and clients, and showcasing our curated collection of homewares, art, lighting and furniture. We’re looking for an Operations Manager who brings the same level of pride, professionalism and passion to help support and guide the business as we continue to grow. About the Role This is a hands‑on role that sits at the heart of the business and requires a proactive, can‑do attitude. You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Miami retail store, Burleigh Showroom, warehouse and interior design & styling studio. Working closely with the Directors, you’ll help drive efficiency, profitability, refine processes and deliver reporting that supports smart, strategic decision‑making. Your work will directly influence performance, customer experience and the smooth running of each area of the business. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead day‑to‑day operations across our retail locations, warehouse, logistics and administration Maintain strong communication between teams and support consistent service and brand experience Oversee staff development, including rostering, training and performance support Business Performance & Reporting Monitor sales performance and support the team in meeting revenue goals Prepare and analyse P&L, budgets and financial reports for the Directors Identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement Systems, Processes & Productivity Improve and maintain operational systems, policies and workflows Implement structures that support efficiency, accuracy and profitability Manage compliance, documentation and internal procedures Inventory, Logistics & Supplier Management Oversee stock control and inventory accuracy across both locations and the warehouse Coordinate supplier relationships, including international imports and shipping logistics Ensure timely, accurate stock movement and product availability Customer Experience Maintain a high level of customer service across all touchpoints Support staff in delivering an elevated in‑store and showroom experience About You Proven experience in operations management, ideally in retail, design or lifestyle industries with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role Strong understanding of business performance, financial reporting and P&L management A confident and supportive leader with excellent communication skills Highly organised with a natural ability to create structure and solve problems Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Confident with inventory systems and operational software Motivated, flexible, proactive and excited to help take the business to its next stage of growth Sales & Marketing experience highly desirable Why Join Kira & Kira?
