Best Experience Consumer Partnerships Assistant Location: Sunshine Hospital Employment Type: Part-Time (24 hours/week), Ongoing Salary: Admin Grade 1 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About the Role The Best Experience Consumer Partnerships Assistant plays a key role in supporting consumer participation across Western Health. This position coordinates the structures, processes and relationships that enable meaningful partnerships between consumer advisors and staff across the organisation. The Consumer Partnerships Assistant is integral to advancing a culture where consumer voice, lived experience, equity and community partnership strengthen the safety, accessibility and quality of care at Western Health. Key Responsibilities As a member of the Best Experience Division, the Consumer Partnerships Assistant will: Coordinate consumer advisor recruitment, onboarding, communication and ongoing engagement. Support consumer advisors to feel equipped, empowered and included in organisational activities. Facilitate staff-consumer connections and assist with preparation, documentation, and follow-up. Contribute to consumer events, training, and community outreach activities that strengthen engagement. Maintain accurate reporting, data collection and diversity monitoring for organisational requirements. Support the implementation of the Best Experience Framework and the Consumer & Community Engagement Framework across Western Health. About You This role will suit someone with lived experience and/or a strong understanding of diverse and intersectional communities, including LGBTIQA+ people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with cultural or racial diversity, people with disability and neurodivergent communities.
