Earlwood Orthodontics – Dental Assistant / Receptionist (Part‑Time) Are you a friendly, organised, and motivated Dental Assistant looking to join a welcoming orthodontic team? Earlwood Orthodontics is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist to support our specialist orthodontic practice in a part‑time role. About the Role As an integral member of our small, supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your daily responsibilities will include: Chairside assisting for orthodontic treatments Infection control and sterilisation Preparing treatment rooms and coordinating lab work Taking photos and scans, managing lab work and stock Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions and guidance Assisting with reception tasks as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry Helping with social media posts and other team support tasks Roster / Hours 4‑day week (approx 35 hours) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (9‑hour clinic day) Friday : 8‑hour non‑clinic day (reception, social media, stock and lab management, other support tasks) About You Has dental assisting experience (Cert III dental assisting highly regarded, but not essential) Experienced in orthodontic chairside assisting (preferred, but not essential) Knowledgeable in infection control and sterilisation procedures Friendly, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a small team Well‑organised, with excellent multitasking, communication, and presentation skills Why You’ll Love Working With Us Work in a modern, specialist orthodontic practice with a supportive team culture Diverse and engaging role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities Opportunity to develop your skills in orthodontics and patient care Part‑time work with consistent weekly hours If you meet the above qualifications and are ready to make a difference in our patients’ smiles, we’d love to hear from you Apply now with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you’d be a great fit.
