About Us We are hiring for a leading Australian timber and forestry enterprise with sawmills and warehouses across most states, supplying both domestic and international clients with high-quality wood, woodchips, and related products. As our business continues to expand across Australia and overseas markets, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and sales growth nationally and globally. About the Role As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to expand our market share across Australia and internationally. You will lead a growing team of marketing and sales professionals, working closely with senior management to strengthen the company’s brand, enhance customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities in the timber and forestry sector. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee marketing and sales strategies for timber and forestry products across multiple states and export markets. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, pricing trends, and customer needs. Plan and manage marketing campaigns, digital promotions, trade exhibitions, and client engagement activities. Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and large‑scale buyers in the building, construction, and export sectors. Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Lead, mentor, and support marketing and sales staff with clear goals and performance targets. Collaborate with the operations, logistics, and export teams to align marketing and supply strategies. Prepare management reports and presentations on marketing performance and market development. Contribute to corporate strategy through insights on new product development, branding, and promotional direction. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in marketing or sales management, ideally within timber, forestry, or related building materials industries. Demonstrated success in leading teams, developing marketing plans, and achieving measurable sales growth. Strong understanding of B2B and export marketing practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analysis. Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required.
