About the Role VU TAFE is seeking a Senior Educator to coordinate Literacy, Numeracy & Digital Support (LND) provided to eligible Skills First students. Key Responsibilities Oversee high quality, innovative Literacy, Numeracy and Digital support to eligible Skills First students. Work with the senior manager, teachers and VU staff to coordinate the logistics necessary for the delivery of innovative support, including student communications, timetabling, learning materials and program resources. Salary and Conditions of Employment Continuing Senior Educator role at SE1 classification, $121,708 per annum plus superannuation, working 38 hours per week. Conditions of employment are covered by the Victoria University Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2025. About the Person Our teaching team is looking for someone: Bachelor of Education Degree with specialisation in Literacy/Numeracy and/or a Bachelor Degree and a formal post‑bachelor qualification in literacy/mathematics/numeracy education and at least two years relevant teaching experience to a range of cohorts. Training and Assessment qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with ATELN411 or TAELLN401 and Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502, TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B). Current Employee Working with Children Check or VIT Registration. Minimum of two years industry experience to bring knowledge and experience into the classroom. Excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude. Demonstrated knowledge of literacy and numeracy support strategies and the necessary organisational skills to plan and coordinate appropriate resources.
