Maintenance Co‑ordinator (Full‑time) – Shoalhaven Join Anglican Youthworks as a full‑time Maintenance Co‑ordinator in the Shoalhaven region. The role supports our Youthworks Conference Centres, ensuring properties are maintained to high standards and that venues and ministry programs are equipped with necessary infrastructure. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of Shoalhaven properties, ensuring operational and regulatory standards. Coordinate maintenance contractors, managing scope, requirements and budget. Recommend maintenance changes to the PPFF Manager. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations. Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; assign tasks, support recruitment. Adhere to approved expenditure limits and process invoices in YW systems. Maintain accurate pay information, submit fortnightly. Identify process improvements, propose strategies for operational efficiency. Prepare and submit reports as per Youthworks standards. Engage in Christian ministry activities, ensuring values alignment. Qualifications & Experience Trade qualification (e.g., carpentry) or equivalent experience at trade level. Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance of commercial buildings/properties. Background in ministry or strong involvement in Christian communities (desirable). Experience leading a small team. Personal Attributes Christian faith and active church involvement. Professional, confident approach. Capacity to work under pressure. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Positive attitude towards change. Additional Requirements Clean driving record. Valid Working with Children Check (NSW). Church‑based safe ministry training.
